Event Plan-it is a witty, quirky small business located in Ohio, specializing in wedding planning services. Headed by local entrepreneur, Lisa Paladin, Event Plan-it caters to smaller events as well. Lisa focuses on building the brand through her efforts at blogging, running local events and taking part in a robust online community of similar service providers as well as reaching out to potential clients. ThinQsouK’s engagement with Event Plan-It began with blog copywriting and researching and social media and moved to editorial design and sales pages for Event Plan-It’s signature course, “The DIY Wedding Planning Formula”. Through her work with clients, Lisa noticed a large number of her prospective customers wishing to plan a wedding on a budget without having the appropriate tools or knowledge to be able to do so. Lisa wanted to create a “method” that would be time-tested and consistent, a matter of plugging and playing. She wanted to allow her users to take their own unique details, fill them into planning sheets and to give them wise counsel and guidance along the way. Under the branded theme of “the scientific formula”, I helped Lisa create all course materials, creating and editing content as well as building out her sales page, that continued on the theme of a science-based “forumlaic” approach.
